To generate a comprehensive list of hostels, enter your desired location and travel dates. You can sort them based on their prices and ratings from other Hostelworld users.

They compare the top three hostels for each type of traveler. Looking for the most affordable hostels? If you are booking based on price, it is recommended that you look at the hostel`s page to see their full price list. Hostelworld usually displays the lowest available rate, which may or may not be what you require.

When you visit the page of your chosen hostel, you will be able to check not only the overall ratings but also ratings by category (character, security, location, staff, atmosphere, and cleanliness), providing you with a better overview before booking a room or bed in the hostel`s dorm.

Hostelworld`s Reservation Procedure

Booking with Hostelworld is simple.

All you have to do is enter all of the necessary information, such as:

• destination preferred property (your preferred hostel!)
• The number of visitors (you alone or with friends?)
• and the number of nights (with check-in date and check-out date).

Please double-check your booking information to avoid booking the incorrect date, hostel, or number of nights. Always double- and triple-check your work!

Once you`ve completed all of the fields, you`ll be asked for payment information to confirm your reservation.  You will be given a breakdown of what you will be charged, which may include a deposit and down payment to secure your reservation.

How Do You Cancel A Reservation With Hostelworld?

To avoid being charged for a no-show or late cancellation, cancel your reservation with Hostelworld at least 24 hours before your arrival date, unless otherwise specified by your chosen property.

If the 24-hour period has passed, you will no longer be able to cancel your reservation online, and cancellations after this time will be considered late or no-show, with additional charges possible.

To cancel your Hostelworld reservation, log into your account, find your reservation, and click "cancel." Once completed, the property will be notified automatically. Cancellation fees would be determined by your booking and the property`s terms as stated during reservation confirmation.
